Closet-Core Book Nook
This image went viral everywhere, and it’s not hard to see why. If you have an extra closet you can clean out or repurpose, convert it into a beautifully bookish aesthetic nook!
Book nooks are often about reimagining and transforming spaces you could make better use of. With a chair, bookshelves, wallpaper and upgraded lighting, a drab space can suddenly become the coziest, most magical corner of your home.

Country-Cozy Reading Nook
Outdoor reading nooks are unusual, but I chose it because you can easily put this one inside or out. With a floor sofa couch and a smattering of textured pillows, you can sink into comfort in the glow of warm string lights as the sun sets on the horizon.
If you don’t have a balcony or porch to make this design work, look for little corners in your home or apartment that you may not know how to fill up. Tuck this nook behind your stairs or in the corner of a room. If you need more privacy, consider adding a room divider to give you that intimate atmosphere as you dive into your next read.

Open & Airy Book Nook
You may already have a bookshelf set up in your home, and if you do, this is a really easy nook to recreate. Add a cozy chair and ottoman by the window, a beautiful tiffany-style lamp, and relax!
Even if you have blinds, consider adding curtains. They give the space a warm, cozy touch and can make the ceiling appear taller (make sure to push the curtains as high up on the wall as possible to create this illusion).

Bay Window Book Nooks
Bay windows are easy places to convert into aesthetic book nooks. Adding a seat cushion (you can easily find custom options) and softly textured pillows will instantly make the window seat comfortable and inviting.
If you don’t have bookshelves installed around the bay window, you can recreate the look with floating shelves or an actual bookcase!

Again, outdoor book nooks aren’t exactly common or practical, and I wouldn’t recommend storing your books where they’re exposed to the elements. However, you can recreate this nook indoors and outdoors!
Install a hanging chair beside your bookshelf with enough room to access your books, and load up the chair with your favorite pillows and blankets. Then, add hanging plants and stone planters for a whimsy, energetic setting.

Small spaces are perfect for a reading nook transformation. With a cushiony floor mattress and an array of cozy pillows and blankets, you’ll get an instantly aesthetic reading getaway.
Small spaces can feel even more intimate and private, and with the array of warm lights and fantastical decor, you’ll be diving into this nook every moment you get.

Corner Dweller Book Nook
This nook encapsulates how easy it is to make use of awkward corners of your home. The slanted ceiling doesn’t make for comfortable standing, but it’s an ideal spot for reading!
Again, all you need is a plush floor mattress, lights, and plenty of pillows to prop yourself up while you read. Again, if you’re looking for even more privacy, consider installing a room divider as a faux wall.
